From our Villa collection of wallpaper our Brita wallpaper comes with a story!
This wallpaper demonstrates the large winding floral patterns that were very common in the late 19th century. In designs typical of the period, the plants were free, fantastic, and mixed with shapes from both the Rococo and Baroque periods. In the early part of the period, the colours were dark but became increasingly lighter. In the 1890s, the most popular background colour was light cream beige, as in our pink version of Britas hus.
